The
birth of Wanart grew out of a basic need and desire. Being Chinese
American, Joyce often had a difficult time finding fun, culturally
appropriate greeting cards for friends and family. After working in
architectural design for several years, Joyces entrepreneurial
spirit and passion for design led her to launch Wanart with the creation
of 12 delightful designs featuring the animals of the Chinese zodiac.
Joyces distinctive style merges a fun, contemporary design aesthetic
with Asian cultural influences and traditions. Inspired by the beauty,
purity and essence of nature, childhood, animals and everyday objects,
her designs transcend all cultural boundaries.
As the popularity of Wanart designs grew, so did its product line
and services. Today, in addition to its line of greeting cards, Wanart
offers a variety of items from notepads to infant apparel along with
custom greeting cards, invitations, and announcements for corporate
and personal use. In recent years, Wanart launched an art licensing
program. Wanart products can be found at many specialty stores, museum
shops and cultural institutions across the country and abroad.
Wanart is committed to providing their customers with high quality
products supported by integrity, creativity and exceptional service.
It is this commitment to excellence that fuels the continuing growth
and success of the company.
